I was find writing these things hard to write. HI! My name is Josh, I’m from Melbourne, Australia. This is my website, I came up with the title “Studio Prisoner” a long time back, can’t even remember when. It’s my online persona I guess. I’ve used pretty much anywhere on the web, Twitter, Flickr and many other sites.

Music means a lot to me, and I like to share that passion, hopefully you can enjoy that passion here, when I eventually write about it. I love finding and discovering new artists and sharing them with everyone. I’ve seen the Smashing Pumpkins live 8 times, would you call that obsessive? I would call that passionate. I love live music as well, although since that Smashing Pumpkins tour, have only been to a small handful of shows.

I love technology, mainly web technology and am always looking to improve my skills where I can. I’ve dabbled in a lot of different web languages, HTML, CSS, Java-Script, PHP, Ruby on Rails, Django and some others. I’ve yet to find a development language that I want to stick with, but I’ll get there one day.
